Venus - The First Prototype of an Original Model
Venus is the first prototype of my own original guitar shape. It was created in May 2020 at the Špejchar workshop in Dobruška as an attempt to design an instrument with its own unique character and maximum player comfort. The body is sculpted into a lens-like shape, allowing the guitar to sit naturally against the player's body for a very ergonomic feel.The player's body is very ergonomic.

Materials and Construction
The body is crafted from two pieces of alder, stained black in a way that allows the natural wood grain to remain visible. The neck is made of quartersawn maple paired with an ebony fretboard. The finish was chosen to highlight the natural quality of the materials—the body is coated in a matte nitrocellulose lacquer, while the neck is treated with oil for a smooth and natural feel while playing.
The Guitar's Journey
After its completion, the guitar spent a long time in Matouš Hereš's home studio, where it was actively used for recording. Later, it found a new owner through kytary.cz. However, the Venus model remains a significant milestone for me, and I look forward to revisiting it-I have had a walnut version of this model ready for some time now; it’s just a matter of waiting for the right moment to bring it to life.
