Third Guitar for Jan Tomi
This is the third guitar built for Jan Tomi. It was crafted in the Hradec Králové workshop and completed in March 2023. Once again, we sought to create an instrument that perfectly matches Jan’s playing style-this time, it resulted in a seven-string guitar, only the second of its kind I have ever built.

Materials and Construction
The body is made of alder and topped with flamed ash, which I obtained from a colleague at work. The neck is crafted from hard rock maple and paired with an ebony fretboard, giving the instrument stability, fast response, and clear tone articulation.
Setup and Sound
The guitar remains true to the traditional Telecaster shape but is enhanced with modern features. Both the bridge and tuners are by Gotoh, and the pickup was custom-wound by Pavel Lokvenc specifically for this instrument-a high-definition pickup perfectly suited for heavier music styles. The body is finished with a matte nitrocellulose lacquer, while the neck features an oil finish, ensuring a comfortable and natural feel while playing.
