Telecaster for Martin Pachl
This Tele was built for Martin Pachl in December 2022 in Hradec Králové. It was crafted in a classic spirit, yet features several distinctive elements that give it its own character and sonic versatility.
Materials and Construction
The body is crafted from a single piece of swamp ash, tinted to a golden-brown shade and finished with a high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer. The neck is made of quartersawn maple with a maple fretboard, treated with an oil finish to ensure a natural feel while playing.
Components and Later Modifications
The guitar is equipped with pickups by Michal Tůma, featuring a humbucker at the bridge and a P90 at the neck, offering a wide sonic range. Both the tuners and the bridge are by Gotoh, with a string-through-body design. Originally, the guitar was built without a pickguard, but after some time, Martin reached out to see if I could craft a custom one. It was added later-as seen in the additional photographs.
