The Second Official Build
This guitar is the second official Poul Guitars instrument and the very first one to be built at the new workshop within Tomáš Jech’s "Špejchar" in Dobruška. Completed in July 2019, its construction marked a significant milestone-providing a larger workspace, more modern equipment, and expanded creative possibilities.

Materials
The body is crafted from a single piece of alder, paired with a neck made of quartersawn Balkan maple and a fretboard of exotic ebony. This combination of premium tonewoods provides the guitar with a solid, clear tone and exceptional resonance. Visually, the natural grain of the alder and the deep, dark ebony accented by black hardware create a striking and sophisticated contrast.
Sound and Details
The guitar is uniquely equipped with modern and reliable Hipshot hardware. The oversized, reverse headstock-inspired by 1970s-era Fenders-gives the instrument its distinctive character. The body features a matte nitrocellulose lacquer finish, while the neck is oil-finished, and a string-through body design ensures maximum resonance. The result is an instrument that seamlessly bridges the gap between tradition and modern design.
