The Current Pinnacle
This guitar is the most recent acoustic instrument I have built. It was created by drawing on the experience gained from previous builds, with a strong emphasis on balance, detail, and long-term stability. The soundboard is made of spruce dating back to 1974-wood with a history that has been properly aged and seasoned.
Materials with a Personal Signature
The back, sides, and neck are crafted from flamed walnut provided by Kuba Kohout. The neck is constructed from two pieces joined lengthwise and reinforced with carbon fiber rods to ensure strength and stability without compromising the wood's natural resonance. The plum wood used for the fretboard, bridge, and headplate comes from my own stock-wood I personally harvested and allowed to air-dry for several years before it found its place on this instrument.
Full Circle
The guitar features a 24.9" scale length and is fitted with Gotoh tuners, a bone nut, and a pickup by Pavel Cejpek, with whom I have collaborated repeatedly. The construction took place at the Špejchar workshop in Dobruška in collaboration with Tomáš Jech and was completed in June 2021. The result is an instrument that closes one chapter while pointing toward the direction I intend to follow in the future.
